Once my simroom is ready I can start building platform, MIP and Pedestal elements.

cockpit_platform Platform construction base I have done using aluminium profiles which are commonly used for fixing plasterboards. They are lightweight and strong enough to take the cockpit weight.
cockpit_platform_bottom Top of the profile construction is covered by 2 layers of 12mm chipboard. Top layer is turned 90 degrees against bottom layer to give cocpit floor more strength. Now construction can easilly take 250kg's
cockpit_platform_wheels As you can see, to make may platform easy to move arround the room there is 8 castor wheels mounted. Afterwords I had to install another two exactly in the middle of the platform, more less underneed Captain and First Officer seats.
mip_elements All the parts of the platform and other cockpit elements were first designed using CorelDraw. Thanks that all dimensions were confirmed before I cut anything.
Using JigSaw and 10mm high density chipboard I've done all MIP and Pedestal elements.
