SKALARKI I/O project
 

Universal I/O platform for small amount of money is like a dream of everyone cockpit-builder. Because electronics was always my passion, exactly from day, when I was holding piece of  soldering wire which my dad was using for soldering some small strange "toys"  being 8 mabe 10 years old. Now I decided to refresh my knowledge and design I/O board especially for my sim.

Using latest technology and biggest source of knowledge - internet I have build device easily expandable and cheep to build in comparison to any other commercial projects. Finally project will include main board like on the picture below, which will drive GLARE and two extensions for OVERHEAD and PEDESTAL (currently in development phase).
 

Main features of SKALARKI I/O project:
- transfer through USB
- own application for testing and configuration inputs and outputs which can be running on any networked PC,
PCB like on the photo contains:
- 128 inputs
- 128 inputs
- 8 AC inputs
- 32 7-segment displays
- 3 sockets for 3x128 additional inputs
- 3 sockets for 3x128 additional outputs
- 3 sockets for 3x32 7-segment displays
Once all tests are completed application will be available for download for registered users. Anybody interested is more then welcome to contact me regarding this project.
